All my life all I've ever really wanted to do was make cool monsters and get payed for it. To this end, I've
tried drawing, painting, and sculpture, but the computer, I disocovered, was the quickest and most direct
way for me to express the ideas in my head and have them appear in front of me in a form everyone can
see. I have been a 3dstudio user for several years, and currently most of my work is done using MAX.
My work consists mainly of science fiction and fantasy works, although I've dabbled in other genres.
When making an image or animation, my number one concern is the aesthetics of the scene -- its color,
realism, mood, depth, form, and composition. I was never one for deeper meaning, but if you find some
in my work, I have no problem with that, just don't believe that it was intentional. Sometimes I don't know
the strength of my own subconcious.
I was born on January 17th, 1976 in Pointe Claire, a suburb of the city of Montreal. For those of you not
geographically inclined, Montreal is the biggest city in the province of Quebec, which can be found in the
wonderful country of Canada. Not only was I born here, but I've lived here ever since (in fact, I've been
living in the same room ever since).
Being trapped in this room for so long, I was forced to find hobbies, which I have found in the likes of
computer graphics and animation, playing guitar, and CD and comic collecting, and more recently
webpage design.
I got a College DEC in Pure and Applied Science. I attended one year of Computer Science at Mcgill
University, and I've just started the second year of my BFA in Design Art at Concordia University. I'll be
stuck another two years in school, but then I can join the rest of the huddled masses in my quest for work
in the computer graphics and animation industry.
